NHS Employers and the British Medical Association’s General Practitioners Committee (GPC) have agreed changes to the General Medical Services (GMS) contract for 2009/10. These major changes aim to deliver fairer funding to GP practices based on the requirements of their local population, and reward practices for the care they provide to patients with the most need. More information is available on our GMS web pages. For more details email caroline.mcgregor-johnson@nhsemployers.org.
