A Feng Shui survey, drawn up to establish fresh ideas to breathe new life into a Cheshire market town, has been carried out.

Simon Brown, the chair of the Feng Shui Society in the UK, has completed an extensive review into potential opportunities designed to enhance the look and feel of Congleton.

Cheshire entrepreneur Dawn Gibbins, a keen Feng Shui practitioner, commissioned the special survey of her home town on behalf of the Congleton Business Group.

Dawn recently launched the Barefoot Living brand following her sale of leading international flooring company, Flowcrete.

Part of the new brand includes Barefoot Feng Shui, which is being developed as a social enterprise to bring to life the positive effect the ancient art can have on people’s day to day lives.

Dawn said: “Our mission is to make Britain a happy, healthy and prosperous nation with Feng Shui – and there is no better place to start than my home town of Congleton.

“Leading Feng Shui practitioner Simon Brown has carried out the survey and I am confident that by making some of the changes he suggests we can contribute to the health, well being and wealth of Congleton.”
